    Dehumidification Mode

User manual for LG 6711A90032N wall-mounted air conditioner remote control

    While Operating in “Dehumidification” Mode

➠ When dehumidification mode is selected using the MODE SELECTION BUTTON, the unit operates to reduce the humidity level in the supplied air. The unit automatically sets the indoor temperature and airflow volume to optimal levels, ensuring reduced humidity indoors according to the current temperature.

However, in this case the temperature value is not displayed on the remote control; this mode does not allow adjustment of the indoor temperature.

➠ In dehumidification mode, the airflow is automatically set in accordance with an optimization algorithm that responds to indoor temperature, keeping indoor conditions healthy and comfortable even at high relative humidity.

❗👉➨ To operate in dehumidification mode, follow steps 1, 2, and 4 (see “Operating Mode” section).

Operation in Automatic Mode (For Cooling-Only Models)

User manual for LG 6711A90032N air conditioner remote control

In this mode, the actual temperature settings and fan speed are automatically set by the electronic control unit based on the indoor air temperature. If you feel too warm or too cold, cool or heat the indoor air by pressing the appropriate temperature adjustment button.

❗👉➨ NOTE: In this operating mode, the set temperature value and the indoor unit fan speed cannot be adjusted. However, the Chaos function can be used in this mode. If the system does not operate as desired, select another mode manually. To operate in automatic mode, follow steps 1 and 2 (see “Operating Mode” section).

Operation with Automatic Mode Switching (Cooling/Heating Model)

User manual for LG 6711A90032N wall-mounted air conditioner remote control

In automatic mode, the air conditioner actually uses only the heating and cooling functions.

However, in this mode the controller automatically changes the operating mode to maintain the temperature within +2°C relative to the set temperature.

❗👉➨ To operate in this mode, follow steps 1, 2, 3, and 4 (see “Operating Mode” section).

    Operation in Quick Cooling/Heating Mode

User manual for LG 6711A90032N wall-mounted air conditioner remote control

The quick cooling function can be used to rapidly cool indoor air during hot summer weather. When this function is turned on, the air conditioner operates in cooling mode at a very high fan speed for quick and efficient cooling, with the temperature automatically set to 18°C for 30 minutes.

Similarly, the quick heating function (available in Cooling/Heating models) quickly heats indoor air at a very high fan speed, with the temperature automatically set to 30°C for 60 minutes.

This mode is activated by pressing the QUICK COOLING button.

To switch from quick cooling mode to cooling mode with high fan speed, press the QUICK COOLING button, the INDOOR UNIT FAN SPEED SELECTION button, or the ROOM TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT button again.

    ❗👉➨ NOTE
➠ The quick cooling function cannot be activated during heating and in automatic mode switching.
➠ In inverter models, Art Cool and Art Cool Wide models (except Deluxe), the quick heating function is activated by pressing the QUICK COOLING button while operating in heating mode.
➠ In Art Cool and Art Cool Wide models, in quick cooling/heating mode, the side supply louvers close to ensure rapid cooling and heating.

NEO Plasma Cleaning or NEO Plasma + Ion Operation (optional)

User manual for LG 6711A90032N wall-mounted air conditioner remote control

The Plasma filter is a technology developed by LG to remove microscopic contaminants from the incoming air by creating plasma from highly charged electrons. This plasma system destroys and completely breaks down contaminants, providing clean and sterile air.

The ionizer generates ions that are beneficial for health. The presence of ions stabilizes a person’s psychological state and has a positive effect on breathing.

The plasma cleaning and ion generation function is turned on by pressing the PLASMA button on the remote control. Pressing this button again stops the operation.

    ❗👉➨ NOTE
This function can be used in any mode; when the PLASMA filter is operating, the fan can operate at any speed.
➠ The presence of blue or orange light on the additional display indicates the normal functioning of the plasma ion generator (optional).

    Auto Clean Function (optional)

➠ During Auto Clean operation, moisture remaining inside the indoor unit after cooling or dehumidification is removed.

    1. To activate this function, press the AUTO CLEAN button.

    2. After that, each time the unit is turned off, the indoor unit fan continues to operate for about 30 minutes in ventilation mode, removing moisture from the internal sections of the unit, while the vertical louvers remain closed.

    3. This removes all residual moisture and cleans the internal sections of the unit.

    4. Pressing the AUTO CLEAN button again during operation deactivates this function.

    ❗👉➨ NOTE
➠ During Auto Clean mode, only the POWER ON/OFF button, the PLASMA button, and the AUTO CLEAN button can be used.
➠ The presence of green light on the additional display indicates the normal operation of the automatic cleaner (optional).

    .

    Energy-Saving Cooling Mode (optional)

The energy-saving cooling mode reduces power consumption and ensures efficient operation of the unit in cooling and dehumidification modes. It allows gradual adaptation of the body to the temperature over time, as well as automatic setting of the required indoor air temperature.

    2. Open the cover on the remote control. Select cooling mode or dehumidification mode.

    3. Press the ENERGY-SAVING COOLING MODE button.

    4. To cancel the energy-saving cooling mode, press the ENERGY-SAVING COOLING MODE button again; the unit will resume operation in the previous mode (cooling or dehumidification).

    Display Brightness (optional)

The display brightness can be adjusted using the remote control.

    Press the start/stop button.

Open the cover on the remote control, press the 2ndF button, and then the display brightness adjustment button.

The display will darken. Press the button again to adjust the brightness.

    1. If you need to switch the air conditioner to energy-saving mode, for example at night, press the SLEEP MODE AUTO ACTIVATION button.

    2. The timer is programmed in one-hour intervals by pressing the SLEEP MODE AUTO ACTIVATION button from 1 to 7 times. The number of set operating intervals in sleep mode may vary from 1 to 7. To change the time period by 1 hour, press the SLEEP MODE AUTO ACTIVATION button while pointing the remote control at the air conditioner.

    3. ➠ (For non-inverter models)

Make sure the standby mode LED indicator is on. To cancel standby mode, press the SLEEP MODE AUTO button several times until the standby LED indicator goes out.

    (For inverter models)

Make sure the timer LED indicator is on.

To cancel standby mode, press the SLEEP MODE AUTO button several times until the timer LED indicator goes out.

    ❗👉➨ NOTE
➠ In sleep mode, the indoor unit fan operates at low speed in cooling mode and at medium speed in heating mode, ensuring optimal conditions for a normal night’s sleep.
➠ In Art Cool and Art Cool Wide models (except Deluxe), the lower supply louvers remain partially closed in standby mode to provide comfortable sleeping conditions.

    In cooling or dehumidification mode:

The set temperature automatically increases twice by 1°C within the next 30 minutes (2°C within 1 hour), ensuring comfortable conditions for sleeping. The final temperature is then maintained for the entire duration of the sleep mode operation.

    Setting the Current Time

    1. The current time can only be set by pressing the RESET button. After replacing the batteries, press the RESET button and set the time again. Press the POWER ON/OFF button.
