Functions
The handheld clothing steamer Xiaomi Mijia Steamer MJGTJ02LF uses secondary evaporation technology to smooth out all types of wrinkles and fabrics. The gentle steam helps care for clothes and maintains their shape.
1. The Xiaomi handheld clothing steamer is very easy to operate, suitable for use at home and during travel; it is compatible with most types of clothing, curtains, and decorative fabrics, and can also be used to steam most types of knitwear.
2. The built-in closed micro-pressure tank generates high-temperature steam to soften the fabric and smooth wrinkles. Power is 1200 W, with fast preheating in 30 seconds and steam delivery by a single button; a large volume of steam penetrates the fibers of clothing from the inside, smoothing persistent wrinkles. In various situations, you can use vertical or horizontal steaming.
3. The aluminum cast surface delivers high-temperature steam twice, which increases drying speed and prevents condensation on the fabric. The steam temperature remains constant for comfortable ironing.
4. The device features overheating protection. When the temperature exceeds the safe range, the protection activates and the device automatically stops operating.
Preparation for Use
1. Filling the Water Tank
Open the tank cap, pour in the required amount of water, and securely close the cap.
2. Installing the Water Tank
Following the diagram and markings on the tank, attach the tank to the rear part of the device.
3. To install the lint cleaning brush attachment, hold the steamer handle with one hand and attach the brush with the other. You will hear a click when it is successfully installed.
❗👉➨ WARNING!: The device must be turned off and cooled down when installing or removing the lint cleaning brush.
❗👉➨ NOTE: Do not use the lint cleaning brush for cleaning other types of fabrics.
Operation
1. Power On
After installation, connect the power supply to an outlet that meets the device requirements and turn on the power.
2. Heating
After turning on, the device will begin heating, and the indicator will blink for approximately 30 seconds; once the set temperature is reached, the indicator will remain steadily lit, and you can begin using the device. If the temperature drops below the set level during operation, the device will start heating again, and the indicator will blink without affecting operation.
❗👉➨ WARNING!: Do not press the steam button within 30 seconds after turning on the device to avoid burns from water splashes.
❗👉➨ NOTE: Use the glove during operation as the device heats up.
3. Dry Ironing Function
Once the iron is heated, you can use the ironing surface to iron clothes without pressing the steam button.
4. Wet Ironing Function
After the device heats up, press and hold the steam button to release steam, then begin ironing.
❗👉➨ WARNING!: To avoid burns, do not touch the ironing panel while the power is on.
Do not leave the ironing surface on fabric for an extended period.
Do not leave the device turned on unattended.
❗👉➨ NOTE: The sound produced by the water pump during operation is normal.
After steaming, water droplets remain in the main unit’s tube. Therefore, after releasing the steam button, a small amount of steam may continue to be emitted, which is normal.

6. Wool Ironing
Attach the lint cleaning brush to remove dust and lint from the fabric. Then remove the brush and turn on the power. For best results, it is recommended to use the dry ironing function.
7. Power Off
After ironing, detach the water tank and drain any remaining water; press and hold the steam button until the steam stops. Then release the steam button, unplug the power supply from the outlet, and store the device after it has cooled down.
Maintenance and Care

1. To extend the service life of the device, it is recommended to fill the tank with purified water.
2. Regularly clean the water tank by rinsing it with water and drying it to prevent scale buildup.
3. Wipe the ironing surface with a damp cloth to keep the steam outlet holes clean and free of scale and blockages.
