    SLEEP

Pressing this button alternately enables and disables the Sleep function. The symbol "" appears on the display of the remote control.

The function can be activated in cooling or heating modes.

In FAN and AUTO modes, the Sleep function is not available.

The Sleep mode is deactivated when the air conditioner is turned off.

    FAN (Fan Speed)

This button is used to set the fan speed in the following sequence:

    Auto – Low – Medium – High

The corresponding fan speed indicator is displayed:

In Auto mode, the fan speed is set automatically depending on the difference between the set temperature and the ambient temperature. In BLOW mode, the fan automatically operates at low speed.

    CLOCK

Press the button to set the clock. The "" icon will start flashing on the display.

While the "" icon is flashing, within 5 seconds you must start setting the time using the adjustment buttons. The value will change by 1 unit every 0.5 seconds.

After setting the time, press the CLOCK button again to confirm. The icon will stop flashing. The "" icon appears on the display after power is supplied. The clock display area shows either the current time or the timer value, depending on the settings.

    TEMP (Temperature)

Button for switching the temperature indication mode (not available on all models):

    “+” “-” Buttons

Pressing the “+” or “-” buttons respectively increases or decreases the set indoor air temperature.

If you press and hold one of the buttons for 2 seconds, the temperature value changes rapidly.

The temperature is displayed in degrees Celsius ("C) or Fahrenheit ("F).

Switching between Celsius and Fahrenheit is performed by pressing the “+” and “-” buttons simultaneously in OFF mode.

These buttons are also used to adjust the time in CLOCK and TIMER modes.

    BLOW (Self-Cleaning)

Pressing the BLOW button in COOL (Cooling) or DRY (Dehumidification) modes enables or disables the self-cleaning function. The "" symbol appears on the display when the function is active. Pressing the button again disables the function, and the "" symbol disappears.

In AUTO, FAN, and HEAT modes, the function cannot be activated.

    TURBO

Pressing the button turns on the backlight of the indoor unit panel. Pressing it again turns off the backlight.

Louver Swing Mode and Swing Angle

Each press of the button changes the louver swing angle and swing mode in the following sequence:

    GREE split-system remote control manual

In modes "9", "8", "7", the swing angle for each airflow direction is the same regardless of the airflow direction.

Swing mode "1" covers the entire airflow range.

If the button is pressed and held for 2 seconds, the louvers will start swinging. When the button is released, the louvers will stop and remain fixed in the selected position.

In swing mode, pressing the button for more than 2 seconds will fix the louvers at the desired swing angle.

    TIMER ON

Pressing the TIMER ON button sets the air conditioner’s timer to switch on. The timer display zone on the remote control activates, and the "HOUR ON" symbol begins flashing. Then use the "+" and "?" buttons to set the timer value.

Each press of the "+" or "?" button increases or decreases the time by 1 minute. If the button is held for 2 seconds, the minute value changes rapidly.

    TIMER OFF

Pressing the button sets the air conditioner’s timer to switch off. The procedure for setting the time and deactivating the function is the same as for TIMER ON mode.

    Air Conditioner Operation

    Operating Sequence in Different Modes

➠ In cooling or heating mode, the air conditioner maintains the set temperature within ±1°C.

➠ If the set temperature in cooling mode is more than 1°C lower than the ambient temperature, the air conditioner will not switch on.

➠ If the set temperature in heating mode is more than 1°C higher than the ambient temperature, the air conditioner will not switch on.

➠ In AUTO mode, the temperature is not manually adjustable; the air conditioner automatically maintains a comfortable temperature of 23±2°C. If the temperature is +20°C, the unit will automatically start in heating mode. At +26°C, the unit will start in cooling mode.

➠ In DRY (Dehumidification) mode, the air conditioner maintains the set temperature within ±2°C. If, when switched on, the room temperature is more than 2°C above the set temperature, the unit will operate in cooling mode.

➠ When the temperature falls more than 2°C below the set temperature, the compressor and outdoor unit fan stop operating, while the indoor unit fan runs at low speed.

➠ In Sleep mode during cooling, after the first hour of operation, the set temperature automatically increases by 1°C; after the second hour, it increases by another 1°C. The set temperature then remains unchanged.

➠ In Sleep mode during heating, after the first hour of operation, the set temperature automatically decreases by 1°C; after the second hour, it decreases by another 1°C. The set temperature then remains unchanged.

❗👉➨ In Sleep mode, the TIMER function cannot be activated.

    Additional Functions

    BLOW Function (Self-Cleaning)

The BLOW (self-cleaning) function is intended for removing moisture from the evaporator surface and internal cavities of the unit. Removing moisture prevents the appearance and growth of bacteria inside the unit.

When the self-cleaning function is enabled, after switching off the unit with the ON/OFF button from COOL or DRY mode, the indoor unit fan runs at low speed for 10 minutes. The fan operation in BLOW mode can be forcibly stopped by pressing the BLOW button.

If the function is disabled, the indoor unit fan will not operate after switching off the unit with the ON/OFF button from COOL or DRY mode.

    AUTO Mode

In AUTO mode, depending on the indoor air temperature, the air conditioner automatically starts operating in cooling or heating mode, creating comfortable conditions for the user.

    TURBO Mode

In TURBO mode, the indoor unit fan operates at an extra-high speed in heating or cooling mode, creating an intense airflow that allows the room temperature to quickly reach the set value.

    Remote Control Button Lock

If the remote control is in ON mode, pressing the “+” and “?” buttons simultaneously locks all remote control buttons. A symbol " " appears on the display. To unlock, press the “+” and “?” buttons again.

    Forced Enabling/Disabling of Defrost Function

The defrost function (DEFROSTING) can be forcibly switched on or off. To do this, with the remote control in OFF mode, press the BLOW and MODE buttons simultaneously. The defrost mode will turn on or off depending on its previous state. When the function is enabled, the H1 symbol lights up in the temperature indication area.

If the function is enabled, when the air conditioner is switched on in heating mode, the H1 symbol will flash for 5 seconds. If the “+” and “?” buttons are pressed simultaneously during this time, the set temperature will be displayed instead of the H1 symbol.

    Automatic Indoor Unit Defrost Function

If the indoor and outdoor temperatures are low, the heat exchanger of the indoor unit may start freezing. When the heat exchanger temperature reaches 0°C, the automatic defrost function is activated. The compressor and the fans of both the indoor and outdoor units stop operating. The indicator on the indoor unit panel flashes.
